Garden Design - Initial visit
At the first meeting, we will look at your garden and discuss what you would like to change. We will talk through practical considerations, and any features you wish to include. It's a good idea to make a list of things you would like in the garden before this meeting, so you do not forget anything. Places to sit, places to play, vegetable and herb gardens, storage sheds, lighting, water features - even if you don't know where they would go, put them on the list.
We will also show you a portfolio of our designs.
After this meeting, we will send you a quote for designing the garden to an agreed brief.
Green Garden Design's fees are based on the Society of Garden Designer guidelines. They reflect the time spent on a project and are charged in one of the following ways:
- A fixed fee for the design to the completed masterplan stage. This is generally for projects up to a budget of £20,000.
- A percentage of the final overall cost of completing the garden project. This is generally for projects over £20,000.
- An hourly rate for small projects fees
