A featureless back garden was transformed into a fun-filled outside space for adults and children. A deck outside the house provides a warm, sunny place to relax and there is a large lawn for games. The low maintenance borders are full of colourful, robust plants, which wont be damaged by footballs! The far end of the garden is screened off and includes a secret Indian camp for the children and planting for wildlife.

The front of this property slopes down to the house. A spacious, level arrival area was created by the front door, to welcome guests. A raised bed is used to display pots and planters, a particular interest of the owners. The shady, woodland style borders replace some of the lawn and are planted informally, packed with plants for year-round interest.

A cool, calm design was created to complement the luxurious conversion of a family home. The crisp lines of the paving are softened by scented, low maintenance planting. A formal knot garden encloses a range of herbs and box topiary reflects the structured style of the garden.

The back garden of a Victorian railway cottage was transformed into a colourful, cottage style oasis, with space to entertain, and a private seating area.

Informal sweeps of perennials and grasses transformed a featureless driveway in the space of a year.  The garden was planted in October 2005 and by the summer of 2006 a constantly changing succession of colour and texture welcomed the owners home.
